Kim Delaney has won Emmy Awards for her role as Detective Diane Russell. The most notable role she has played is her role in All My Children Philly CSI: Miami, Army Wives. Born as the only daughter to a senior executive of the United Auto Workers and a household worker, Delaney was raised with four brothers. She dreamed of becoming a court reporter in the early years of her life, however she began modelling at high school, eventually earning commercials when she moved into New York. Her first acting job was as a teenager on All My Children, a 1981 soap opera. Since then Delaney has appeared in numerous films television movies and dramas. Contrary to her career success, her private life isn't as happy and prosperous. The actress, who is gifted and stunning, has had to battle alcoholism before. Her marriages have also been unsuccessful two times. The actress lost custody of her son in the year 2005.
